(More customer reviews)If you are looking for an interesting lunch bag, the Rambler bag with dots is that and if you are prone to misplacing things, this may be a helpful remedy. More than these points, however, the Rambler can be cleaned easily and you can zip the bag to keep contents inside. The bag expands to accommodate lunch items and when not is flat.
The most problematic aspect of this bag is what it can hold. The material is slightly flexible and stretchy so it can be stretched slightly. If you are packing a lunch for a youngster, there should be sufficient room. If you are packing a lunch for an adult, you may have difficulty -- especially if you use containers that are washable. I have placed photos in the photo gallery in attempt to demonstrate this point.
I like to use washable containers because they are more environmentally friendly and it eliminates the need to buy sandwich bags. However, not all containers fit well. Some have to be inserted sideways so you need an extra tight seal on that container OR you need to abstain from liquid foods. If you have two containers and an apple, this bag's stretchiness feature will be needed. If you also need to put a drink in the bag, it better be the size of a juice box.
This bag is cute but you may need something a little bigger if you pack a couple of snacks for the workday as well as a drink and your lunch. For kids, this is likely a perfect size. I believe Rambler makes several different size bags so assess how much you think you will be packing. The bags also come in multiple styles if green and/or dots are not you or your kid's thing.
