It's very large and I have no problem fitting all I need inside; this had been a problem before because I do a lot of assembling of my lunches at work. The container that it came with is of a quality plastic, very sturdy, and dishwasher safe which is a plus for me! I also love the ice pack that slides right on the top. It keeps me entire lunch tote cool from 6am till 1pm when I eat. So not only is this bag useful it's stylish too! I can't tell you how many people have said to me that they thought it was my purse, this was kind of why I chose the black. I would highly recommend this product to everyone!
