(More customer reviews)Practical & adorable, this bento is perfect. There's just something about looking at an adorable fat cat on an equally adorable box that makes lunchtime so much more fun. Also, its size makes it a perfect substitute for the typically bulky American lunchbox. I enjoy that fact especially, since I'm a college art student, & always have so much other stuff to carry, that it's such a wonderful improvement to be able to slip my bento into the top of my backpack.
This is not suited for the typical american lunch (i.e. sandwich, chips, etc). you are not going to fit a sandwich into this bento. At least, not in one piece. Betos are meant for tightly packed meals. I would highly recommend getting a cookbook geared toward bento if your unsure of how to go about making a lunch that fits.
